project: syntropy designed the system and delivered a turnkey display solution (screen including projection system with warping and blending hardware) for a fighter simulator on order of IABG GmbH for their end client Airbus Defence.
The display solution consists of a screen made out of dome segments with a FOV of 220° x -25°/+110° and is equipped with five projectiondesign F22 projectors. We integrated and calibrated the system using domeprojection.com auto-alignment tools.
The complete simulator was installed by us and presented by IABG at their booth at ITEC2011 (international forum for the military training, simulation and education sectors) in Cologne.
