Project
75″ FullHD Multitouch Table for visitor/student information in the foyer of the University, Unter den Linden, Berlin. Multitouch map application displaying all faculties and facilities supporting unlimited touches and object tracking.

We  developed a large 75″ FullHD-Multitouchtable for the exhibition HU200- “Mittendrin. Eine Universität macht Geschichte.” based on a concept developed for the Humboldt University (HU) by the exhibition designers Duncan McCauley, titled “City/Locations”.

The multiuser table presents the different faculties and facilities of the HU – geolocated on an interactive map of Berlin. Visitors were able to explore the historical background of the University’s faculties until August 2010 in the foyer of the library of the university – the Jacob-und-Wilhelm-Grimm-Zentrum.

In 2011 we have performed the relocation, recommissioning and content extension of the multitouch-system „City/Locations”. The table is now located in the University’s foyer in Berlin, Unter den Linden 6.
